KITCHEN DESIGN

Designing a new kitchen can be a very exciting experience when you know where to start! I can help you all the way from concept planning till completion.

A simple 3 step plan:

1. I measure up your space or we look at the architectural plans and we discuss the style of kitchen you would like.

2. We visit the showroom to specify the furniture, including handles and worktops and appliances.

3. I present you the new kitchen design. During this presentation we will also have a chance to discuss the quote and we can make amendments to the design as necessary.

We always get asked 'when should I start planning my kitchen?'

The honest answer is - as early as possible! When you apply for planning permission or when the builders start the ground works it is essential to have a plan for your kitchen as most of the services will need to be allocated at the early stages of the build. You may need to wait months before the actual kitchen can be fitted but rest assured starting early means your project will run smoothly.

Most companies like to get involved once you are ready to go ahead with the order but I am more than happy to produce the kitchen installation drawings. These documents are plans and elevations that your builder can use as guidance. There is a £500 fee to release the installation drawings, this fee is deductible at the point of kitchen purchase.

Once you have the time lines from your project manager/builder we schedule in the kitchen delivery and fitting to make sure everything arrives to site on time without any delay.
